“Fermanagh Farms is hosting their Fall Market Oct. 1 and will be collecting food or monetary donations for the local Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank.

The Fall Market will feature a lineup or artisans, crafters, delicious food vendors and a kids’ zone with a bouncy castle, all hosted in the farm’s rustic barn, built in 1983, and around the farm grounds.

Food and treat vendors will be set up, as well as jewelry, clothing and accessory vendors to help you get ready for Thanksgiving with delicious treats and one-of-a-kind gifts.

Entry is free, and the event is pet-friendly. Donations will be collected to support the local food bank.

At the Spring Market, Fermanagh Farms raised almost $650 and collected 1,100 pounds of food for the food bank. With this event, they hope to beat that record.”

The King Chamber of Commerce hosted its first annual “Farm to Table Summer Feast” at Fermanagh Farms on Thursday evening. The sold-out inaugural event in Schomberg was a celebration of the many agricultural businesses in King Township. Chamber of Commerce President Michelle Frauley, who provided a warm welcome to all invitees as they entered the charming, rustic, and elegant dining room, was “pleased not only by the turnout, but the opportunities that such an event creates for all involved. We’re celebrating the agricultural roots of the community and we’re looking forward to growing this event in the coming years. Our focus tonight is on sustainability, the ecosystem of King Township, a dinner that is derived from local farms, and the opportunity for networking for all the guests.”
