We at Fermanagh Farms are incredibly happy to see that most all COVID-19 impacts and restrictions are almost gone!
What is Fermanagh Farms’ COVID-19 Guest Capacity?
Based on the lifting of restrictions as of March 1, we have no COVID-19 related capacity restrictions.
What is our Proof of Vaccination Policy. Can you accommodate guests that are not vaccinated.
Based on the lifting of restrictions as of March 1, we have no requirement for Proof of Vaccination. We allow both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests to events. Event organizers that wish to limit their guest list to those that are vaccinated may choose to do so for their specific event.
Are Masked Required to be Worn Indoors?
As per the announcement on March 9, 2022, mask use indoors will no longer be required as of March 21, 2022. Until March 21, 2022 events will have a sign posted stating that wearing mask indoors is required.
How is contact tracing and screening handled?
An on-line form will provided to your guests to fill out before the event that will allow for contact tracing and screening information before arrival. Fermanagh Farms staff will welcome guests and verify these details as well as Proof of Vaccination upon arrival.
What if we our event is forced to cancel or we choose to cancel because of COVID restrictions?

**update** ON Feb 14, 2022, the Province of Ontario provided an update to Return to the Plan to Safely Reopen Ontario. This updated plan comes into effect Feb 17th, 2022. Details of the announcement CAN BE FOUND HERE with the actual regulation LINKED HERE. details of how this effects us are below..
ON Sept 14. 2021, the Province of Ontario provided details for Proof of Vaccination requirements. Details below.
As of Feb 17, 2022, We are operating Under the following Plan.
Gatherings
- A gathering that is casual hosted not staffed or managed
- indoors 50 people maximum
- outdoors 100 people maximum
- Proof of vaccination is not applicable
Wedding Ceremony (Religious Services, Rites – Does not apply to receptions
- Indoor space limited to 80 people to maintain 2 metres physical distancing where proof of vaccination is in effect. Limited by 50% to 60 people if no proof of vaccination is in effect. Outdoor capacity limits are lifted and physical distancing is not required.
- Mask is required when indoors, not requirement outdoors.
Meeting and Event Spaces
- Different from a Gathering in that the event is hosted by a business that is staffed and managed
- Indoors restrictions have been lifted and physical distancing is not required.
- Outdoor capacity is limited by non-COVID factors. Outdoor events this time of year are almost very weather dependent. Most tent companies will not provide a tent for this time of year.
- Dancing is allowed.
- Mask is required when indoors and moving through the space (ie getting food, going to washroom, dancing), not requirement outdoors.
- Proof of vaccination is applicable for events in indoor spaces, not outdoor spaces

- Indoors restrictions have been lifted and physical distancing is not required.
- Outdoor capacity is limited by non-COVID factors. A tented space is considered to be outdoors if it has a maximum of two side walls. Contact us to discuss.
- Mask is required when indoors and moving through the space (ie getting food, going to washroom, dancing),
- Mask is not required outdoors.
- Dancing is allowed.
- Proof of vaccination is applicable for events in indoor spaces, not outdoor spaces
Proof of Vaccination Details – Proof of Vaccination requirement to end as of March 1, 2022
As per the update to the regulations announced on Feb 14, 2022, the Proof of Vaccination requirement will end as of March 1, 2022. As a venue that wishes to bring family and friends together, we are choosing to not voluntarily require Proof of Vaccination for the events hosted at our venue.
For events up until March 1st, the following is in place.

- Proof will be required for indoor events. For us, this means events held in our barn.
- Proof will not be required for outdoor events. For us this means events held outdoor or in tents with a max. of two walls. At these events, proof is not required to use indoor washrooms.
- Proof will not be required for those guest seated in a small tent adjacent to the barn when used at a primarily indoor event.
- Proof will not be required for any kind of event that is a ceremony, religious service or rite including wedding ceremonies whether they be indoors or outdoors.
- For events between Sept 22 and Oct 13, 2021 for which these requirement are applicable, a guest may provide results of an antigen test administered within the previous 48 hours.
- We will be checking Proof of Vaccination at our Check-in / Registration table upon guest arrival.

What else does this mean for your event at Fermanagh Farms?
- As always, we are committed to providing a safe, clean, comfortable space for our event hosts, groups and guests.
- Events will only proceed within the context of Public Health Guidelines as of the day of the event
- Events that can not meet within those guidelines will need to be postponed or cancelled as per our Cancellation Policies
Effects on Barn Venue Tours
- We will maintain social distance during your Venue Tour
- While most of our tour will be outdoor and with lots of space to keep social distance, you are welcome to bring masks as per your comfort level.
